Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Karaikal, Union Territory of Puducherry. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
