Turning centre operator — The Dangs

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in The Dangs, State of Gujarat. The job is at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
