On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts.
