Foundry labourer wanted in Navsari

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Navsari, State of Gujarat. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
