Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Eastern West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects.
