Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kallakurichi district, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at an oil and gas facility. You should bring minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites; confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot; sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Part-time with flexible hours.
