Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Ganjam, State of Odisha. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
