Rigging foreman — Katihar

You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
