Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Prakasam, State of Andhra Pradesh. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. We are looking for ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage; sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection; can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols. You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
