Short order cook — Akola

Now hiring: we are hiring a short order cook in Akola, State of Maharashtra. The job is at a roadside dhaba. Ideally you have willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays; able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies; able to stand for long shifts and work in heat. Your main tasks: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
