Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Rohtas, State of Bihar. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Pay around ₹28,000 per month, based on your experience.
