Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Rohtak, State of Haryana. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Day-to-day duties: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
