Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Senapati, Manipur. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₹36,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
