Immediate opening: abattoir worker (State of Tamil Nadu)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Sivaganga, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
