Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. Ideally you have comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment; 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory; a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
