Tailor machinist • Dindori, Madhya Pradesh

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
