Punch press operator — South Goa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in South Goa, Goa. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₹180 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
