Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Bharuch, State of Gujarat. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine 4+ years on the tools preferred.
