Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Unakoti, Tripura. The job is at a container port. Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting. You should bring sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness; proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer ₹24,500 per month plus benefits.
