On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin.
