Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Dehradun, State of Uttarakhand. The job is on an export house sewing floor. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish We are looking for comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines.
