On a typical shift you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 2+ years on the tools preferred.
