Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances 2+ years on the tools preferred.
