Reinforcement fitter • South Salmara Mancachar, Assam

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in South Salmara Mancachar, Assam. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
