Urgent requirement: lifting rigger (West Bengal)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Kolkata, West Bengal. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. We are looking for ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles. Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. ₹240 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
