Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lahul and Spiti, State of Himachal Pradesh. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
