Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Tirupati, State of Andhra Pradesh. On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. You should bring own basic hand tools; physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height; confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₹650 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
