Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Balangir, State of Odisha. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Ideally you have understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens; comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus. Your main tasks: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required 6+ years on the tools preferred.
