Brick and block layer • Mancherial, State of Telangana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Mancherial, State of Telangana. On the job you will handle: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Six days a week, one day off.
