Die-casting operator wanted in Kanniyakumari

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Kanniyakumari, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideally you have basic grinding and fettling skills; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts; knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
