On the job you will handle: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish Ideal candidate: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
