Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Full-time, day shift. ₹160 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
