Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Alipurduar, West Bengal. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
