Overlocker operator • Sibsagar, Assam

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Sibsagar, Assam. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Ideally you have can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently; ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus.
