Aluminium TIG welder • Phek, State of Nagaland

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Phek, State of Nagaland. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec.
