Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Patan, State of Gujarat. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper.
