Immediate opening: steam press operator (State of Karnataka)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Bangalore Urban, State of Karnataka. On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time, day shift.
