Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in South West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. On a typical shift you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
