Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Six days a week, one day off.
