Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ratnagiri, State of Maharashtra. You will work on an export house sewing floor. The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. You should bring able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown; good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching. Six days a week, one day off.
