Domestic gas engineer wanted in Patiala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Patiala, State of Punjab. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day to day you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 3+ years on the tools preferred.
