Now hiring: crane rigger (Assam)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Tinsukia, Assam. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideally you have proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites; valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket. Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
