Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Reasi, State of Jammu and Kashmir. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred.
