Now hiring: safety officer (State of Gujarat)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Porbandar, State of Gujarat. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Ideally you have minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites; NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate; valid first aid and basic firefighting training.
