Blocklayer — Sonitpur

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Sonitpur, Assam. The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Ideally you have comfortable working at height on scaffolding; NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
