Gang bricklayer — South West Khasi Hills

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in South West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
