Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hugli, West Bengal. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideally you have physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height; proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium. Full-time, day shift.
