Great opportunity: gantry crane operator (State of Uttarakhand)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Pithoragarh, State of Uttarakhand. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) You should bring valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent); current medical and eyesight certificate; understanding of hand and radio signals. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
