Shakeout operator • Alappuzha, State of Kerala

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Alappuzha, State of Kerala. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms. Pay around ₹34,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
