Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Kokrajhar, Assam. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. You should bring comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown; can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently. The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required 3+ years on the tools preferred.
